Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect when you shop at Iron Kids Co., how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's federal privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Who we are

Iron Kids Co. is a small, family-run business based in Ontario, Canada. We make handmade, made-to-order gifts and personalize a couple of sourced items too. The business is family-run. You can find us online at https://ironkidsco.com and on TikTok as @ironkidsco. We don't have a phone line, so the best way to reach us is by email (see the Contact us section below).

2. Information we collect

We keep things simple and only collect what we need to make and ship your order. When you place an order and check out through Stripe, we receive:

We do not see or store your payment card details. Your card number and related payment data are collected and handled entirely by Stripe, our checkout provider. Iron Kids Co. never has access to your full card number.

4. Payment processing (Stripe)

All payments are handled securely by Stripe. When you pay, Stripe collects and processes your payment card information directly, and Iron Kids Co. never sees or stores your full card number. To complete your order, we receive your name, shipping address, email, and the customization choices you make at checkout, but not your card number. Stripe handles your payment data under its own privacy policy, which you can read at https://stripe.com/privacy.

5. Hosting & analytics (Vercel)

Our website is hosted on Vercel. To understand how many people visit our site and which pages they enjoy, we use Vercel Web Analytics. This tool is privacy-friendly by design: it does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable information. We can't use it to identify you personally — it just gives us general, anonymous counts so we can improve the shop.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information — ever. We share your information only with the trusted service providers we need to run the store and get your order to your door:

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it to fulfill and support your order, and to meet any legal, tax, or accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we take steps to securely delete or dispose of it. If you'd like your information removed sooner, just email us and we'll do our best to help (see below).

Because everything we make is made-to-order and usually personalized just for you, our return rules are a little different from a big shop's. Here's how it works:

Our products are gifts often bought for children, but our website and checkout are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We aim to keep things light on the tracking front. Our analytics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) does not use cookies to track you. Stripe may use cookies during checkout to keep your payment secure and to prevent fraud; those cookies are managed by Stripe under its own privacy policy.

We may update this policy from time to time as our little shop grows or as the law changes. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back now and then so you always know how we handle your information.
